STUDENT INFORMATION
1. THIS WEEK is Friendship Week. Celebrate all the great people in your life and tell them thanks for being your friend and make a few new ones too! Get a buddy picture today or tomorrow. Cost for the buddy picture is $1.00. Don’t forget, Friday is Twin Day so grab a pal and start planning now!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Please use your ID cards each time you go through the cafeteria line. It helps everything run much smoother and faster!
3. INDIAN EDUCATION – Mrs. Ibarra who works for the Ventura County Indian Education Program is looking to recruit new students to the Ventura County Indian Education Program. Students are eligible if he/she has any Native American heritage. No proof is required and enrollment forms are in the front office.
4. YEARBOOK SALES ARE HERE! Best price of the year - $40.00 with your name free. Add a nickname or an icon for $5.00. Check you the yearbook table at both lunches to see the icon symbols. If you have any questions, see Miss Beal in K-3.
5. ATTENTION STUDENTS – If you are going to be buying a costume, buy one from Wholesale Costume Club. Great prices and 15% of your purchase goes to Fillmore Middle School’s Alpha Omega Club. 6. THE WRAPPING PAPER FUNDRAISER HAS BEGUN! Sell some wrapping paper and help FMS. Don’t forget to go to www.innsbrook.com and click on the “EZ” button to enter your order. The class with the most sales wins a pizza part and the person with the most sales wins 2 ticket to the 80’s dance. Wrap it up and help FMS!
7. FMS WRESTLING PROGRAM – If you are interested in being on the FMS Wrestling Team this year, practice is held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-5 p.m. in the high school wrestling room. All you need is proof of insurance and a physical. Forms may be picked up in the front office with Mrs. Ecklund.
8. FIRST CROSS COUNTRY MEET is today at Monte Vista. Good luck Bulldogs!
PARENT INFORMATION
1. MRS MERRILL’S SCIENCE CLASSES are in need of garden supplies and volunteers. We need tools (shovels, rakes, etc.), red bricks (to build a salsa garden planter), volunteers to help us with irrigation for the gardens and getting the outdoor garden classroom built. Please contact Mrs. Merrill at 524-6070 or stop by on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday’s after school in J-1 is you have any donations or if you can help in any capacity.
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
