STUDENT INFORMATION
1. NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, Sept. 5th - Labor Day holiday.
2. NEW ROTATION starts on Tuesday, Sept. 6th. All students will start the day with period 2 and end the day with period 1.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any firearm, knife, explosive or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
4. LOST YOUR STUDENT ID CARD? If so, you may purchase a replacement card for $3.00 in the Library. If you were not present during registration to get your ID card, you will need to have your picture taken on Picture Make Up Day.
5. PICTURE MAKE UP DAY will take place on Monday, Sept. 12th. If you did not have your picture taken during registration you will need to do so on this day. 6th grade will have their pictures taken during 1st period, 7th graders during 2nd period, and 8th graders during 3rd period.
6. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN CROSS COUNTRY? If so, come to a meeting TODAY, Sept. 1st during both lunches in the media center.
7. CAMFEL ASSEMBLY – “Get a Grip” takes place TODAY. 8th graders will attend the assembly from 8-9:00 a.m.; 7th graders from 9:05-10:05 a.m. and 6th graders from 10:15-11:15 a.m.
8. HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL season opens this Friday night at home. Middle school students are reminded that if they come to the game, they are required to sit in the bleachers to watch the game. Students will not be allowed to loiter behind the bleachers or near the snack bar area. Students who do not comply will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return to other games this year. Costs for middle school students are $4.00 if accompanied by an adult and ALL students without an adult will pay $7.00.
9. LIFETOUCH PICTURES are in! If you purchased pictures during registration, you may pick up your picture packet during lunch or after school at the attendance window.
10. CAFETERIA INFO – Students who receive free breakfast are entitled to one free breakfast OR break snack, not both for free.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT is set for Thursday, Sept. 8th. from 5:15-8 p.m. Stay tuned for more details. Mark your calendar!
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
