STUDENT INFORMATION
1. SPIRIT RALLY WINNERS – The 13 students who won the games at the spirit rally last Friday should see Ms. Morielli in room G-1 for your prizes.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any sort of firearm, knife or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
3. HIGHER EDUCATION FAMILY EVENT – You and your parents are invited to this event TONIGHT from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Fillmore High School. This event is designed to help you make informed decisions about education and career paths after high school. There will be many colleges participating in this event.
4. MINIMUM DAY FRIDAY, March 12th. All students will be released at 12:15 p.m. Busses will pick up students at 12:45 p.m.
5. FRIDAY ONLY all students will start the day with period 1 and end the day with period 6.
6. SPRING BREAK takes place next week Monday, 3/15 through Friday, 3/19. Back to school on Monday, 3/22/10.
7. 3rd QUARTER REPORT CARDS will be mailed home on Monday, 3/22/10.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. PARKING LOT CLOSURE INFO – Please plan ahead. The FMS parking lot will be closed TOMORROW morning, Friday, 3/12 for our 8th grade Civil War Living History activity. There will be no cars allowed to park in the parking lot that morning. There will be one loop in the gate and out of the gate to drop off students. If you can drop your son/daughter off before the stop sign at First Street and have them walk in to school, this will ease congestion into the school.
2. OUR FMS WEBSITE is now under construction! You can log on at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us and click on the Middle School. Our office staff and teaching staff along with email links are posted.
3. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your students to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
