STUDENT INFORMATION
1. MINIMUM DAY FRIDAY, March 11th. Students will be released at 12:15 p.m. Buses will pick up bus riders between 12:45-1:00.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Scholastic CrimeStoppers offers a reward of $50 if you provide information regarding a crime, drugs or weapons on campus. The student providing the information will remain anonymous. See our Principal Mr. Schweller or our Assistant Principal Mr. Carroll if you have information.
3. FILLMORE YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER – Students age 6-14 that are interested in Fillmore Youth Football & Cheer can pick up registration info from your 6th grade teacher, your 7/8th grade PE teacher or in the office.
4. FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER “Happily Ever After”. TONIGHT he Fillmore Middle School Players will present “The Ever After” starting at 6:00 p.m. Come out and support your classmates for a fun night of theatre – see you there!
5. SPRING BREAK is Monday, March 14 through Friday March 18. Return to school on March 21. We will start with a new rotation that day beginning with 4th period.
6. YOUTH ACT CLUB MEMBERS – We will resume meeting at 2nd lunch on Mon., Mar. 21st. This is after Spring break. Start thinking about 4th quarter activities to complete before the end of the school year. See you there!
7. SPIRIT RALLY-If you are interested in participating in our sports rally this Friday, please sign up on Wednesday before school or during period 5 in Ms. Morielli’s room,
G-1. All participants must wear grade level color and tape grade level on their shirt.
Rally Colors: Grade 8: Blue, Grade 7: Red, Grade 6: White.
8. DIABOLO’s may be purchased before school until 7:45, during 1st lunch and after school for $20.00 in the front office.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. ZANGLE PARENT CONNECT – If you have signed up for this service but have not received your PIN number, we apologize. The District is working to correct the situation and hopefully we will have PIN’s and passwords by the end of the month.
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. Fill out the form at the following link and return it to the middle school office. 3. 7th-12th GRADE STUDENTS are now required to get a whooping cough immunization before starting the 2011-2012 school year. Make an appointment now for your student(s) to receive this required vaccination.
4. WEBSITE INFO: Our Calendar of Events is posted at the Fillmore Unified School District Website at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Once there, you can click on Fillmore Middle School and you will find the calendar of events listed in the upper left corner. You will also find a cafeteria menu and staff email access.
