STUDENT INFORMATION

1. THE LIBRARY will be closed today starting at 12:00 p.m.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Writing or drawing in our library books is not only against the rules, it is disrespectful to our school and fellow students. There is a $5.00 fine for writing in books. If you find writing show it to the librarian right away, for your own protection. Also, we still have many, many overdue and lost books out there. Bring them in! Fines are 10 cents per day for overdue books and all fines must be paid in order to go on field trips and to walk through promotion.
3. MENTOR PROGRAM – Any student that signs up for the bowling field trip must turn in your permission slips no later than FRIDAY to Norma or Mario in the Mentor room.
4. GATE will meet after school TODAY in room B-1.
5. 8th GRADE GIRLS/NEW INFORMATION – For girls interested in the Miss Fillmore/Miss Teen Fillmore Pageant: Due to the FHS girls varsity basketball making it to the CIF quarter finals, the Mother/Daughter Tea scheduled for tonight HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED and will be combined with the first practice. First practice (and points) will begin Wed., 3/4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lori McLain at 524-4432.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. BAND BOOSTER MEETING on Monday, 3/2 at 6:30 p.m. in the band room.
2. MEET & GREET is scheduled for Friday, 2/27 from 7:30-8:30 in room C-1.
3. ANY PARENT who wishes to participate in our school’s newspaper by writing an interesting article or poetry, sharing a favorite recipe, or submitting photos of our school events, please contact Ms. Morielli in room G-1 or email her at: amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us
