STUDENT INFORMATION

1. ATTENTION ALL BULLDOGS – Ten students and one staff member will be Word of the Week winners if they can each correctly pronounce, spell, define and use any one of the last three words in our weekly contest. Good luck!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any sort of firearm, knife or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
3. LIBRARY INFO – This is a reminder that the library books you are privileged to check out belong to Fillmore Middle School. Therefore, if your book is due, return it to the library. Right now there are 1833 books checked out and 471 of them are overdue! Each one is collecting a fine of 10 cents per day which you will have to pay. So, renew your library book or bring it back. Take good care of our books. Have a lovely library filled with books is a blessing that we all need to appreciate. Thank you from your library clerks, Ms. Faulkner and Ms. Jones.
4. NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 15th.
5. HOBBY FAIR PARTICIPANTS will be meeting in room B-1 after school TODAY and every Tuesday and Thursday through February.
6. FRIENDSHIP/VALENTINE DANCE – We have a great dance planned for Thursday, Feb. 11th. The dance starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The cost in advance is $4 and $5 at the door. We will have pizza, drinks, snacks, Valentine roses and other friendship gifts for sale. Pick a friend and come and join us for some fun. Dance tickets go on sale today during both lunches.
7. VALENTINE DOOR CONTEST – All 2nd period classes, show your Friendship spirit by participating and decorating your classroom door with LOVE. The top three prizes include 1st place: donuts; 2nd place: popcorn; and 3rd place: lollipops. ASB will judge our doors on Friday, Feb. 12th during period 2, the first period of the day.
8. FRIENDSHIP PHOTOS – Take your picture with your best friends and make those memories last a lifetime. Photos take place starting on Tuesday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Feb. 12th during both lunches on the pavilion stage, behind the blue curtains. The cost is $3.00.
9. FRIENDSHIP/VALENTINE ROSE GRAM – Sign up now during both lunches for your friendship rose gram. We have samples at the lunch table. Come and check it out. We will deliver on Friday the 12th during period 2. The cost for a single rose is 50 cents and up. Show your love and appreciation. Sign up for your friendship gram!

1. DO YOU HAVE A HOBBY you would like to share with students? Our Hobby Fair has openings for you to display your hobby. Please contact Mrs. Wohlers if you are interested in participating.
2. OUR FMS WEBSITE is now under construction! You can log on at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us and click on the Middle School. Our office staff and teaching staff along with email links are posted.
3. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your student to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
