STUDENT INFORMATION

1. NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 8th and Monday, February 15th.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Theft of any item will result in a 3-5 day suspension and notification of the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. WORD OF THE WEEK IS THRIVE – It can mean to grow vigorously; to flourish; to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances. Bulldogs: So you say you want to win? Pronounce it! Spell it! Define it! Use it correctly in a sentence to show you OWN THIS WORD!
4. SCRAPBOOKING CLUB will meet every Wednesday (today) in room B-1 during 2nd lunch. We are still accepting new members and are having fun working on our scrapbooks.
5. FRIENDSHIP/VALENTINE DANCE – We have a great dance planned for Thursday, Feb. 11th. The dance starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The cost in advance is $4 and $5 at the door. We will have pizza, drinks, snacks, Valentine roses and other friendship gifts for sale. Pick a friend and come and join us for some fun. Dance tickets go on sale today during both lunches.
6. VALENTINE DOOR CONTEST – All 2nd period classes, show your Friendship spirit by participating and decorating your classroom door with LOVE. The top three prizes include 1st place: donuts; 2nd place: popcorn; and 3rd place: lollipops. ASB will judge our doors on Friday, Feb. 12th during period 2, the first period of the day.
7. FRIENDSHIP PHOTOS – Take your picture with your best friends and make those memories last a lifetime. Photos take place starting on Tuesday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Feb. 12th during both lunches on the pavilion stage, behind the blue curtains. The cost is $3.00.
8. ALL FMS STUDENTS – This is your last chance at a $45 yearbook with your name on it. At the end of the year books will be $50 and no name. This sale ends Friday, Feb. 5th. See the yearbook table at lunch or Miss Beal in K-3.
9. BASKETBALL PLAYERS – We still need to have you turn in your bag and practice jersey. Turn them in to either Coach Alcantar or the front office.
10. BOYS & GIRLS CLUB TEEN DANCE will take place this Friday, Feb. 5th from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club. Cost is $1.00 for members, $2.00 for non-members.
11. GATE hobby fair meeting will be held TODAY after school so that we can work on our display boards for the hobby fair. All GATE students are strongly encouraged to attend. See you there!

If you have any ideas on what you would like to see on the site, you can email our Principal Todd Schieferle with your suggestions.
2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your student to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
