STUDENT INFORMATION

1. COMPUTER USE FORMS – We still have 198 students who have not returned your signed Computer Acceptable Use form. Students missing the form were given new ones and asked to get it returned with a parent signature. If we do not get this form back, we will have to turn off your computer privileges by disabling your password. Be responsible and return the signed form! You may turn it in to any teacher and they will forward it to the office.
2. SCHOOL RULES – If you ride your bike to school, please lock your bike in the bike racks located in front of the B building, not along the fence at the parking lot. They will be safer in the bike racks.
3. GRADE CHANGES – If you need to have a 2nd quarter grade changed, you must have your teacher do so in writing to Mrs. Brock. The deadline for grade changes is Monday, 1/12/09.
4. THE DOGHOUSE – If you have an interesting story, poem, picture or recipe to share with others and would like to publish it in the FMS Doghouse, please email it (amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us) or turn in a copy to Ms. Morielli in room G-1.
5. THE DOGHOUSE MATH PROBLEM - The first 10 students to turn in the correct answer with work will receive a prize. The due date is this Friday, January 9. Turn your answer in to Ms. Morielli in G-1.
6. HEY YOU! Wake up! It’s time to get your yearbook and it’s also your last chance to get your name on the yearbook. They are still $40 so hurry and order. You snooze, you lose! See Miss Beal in K-3 or the yearbook table during 1st lunch by Friday, 1/23.
7. LIBRARY INFO – Everyone’s library book is due! Write down your title and renew your book or return the book back to the library so you won’t receive a fine. You may return or renew without your ID card at any time.
8. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY – Ask Sandra Rojas about why you should stop buying sodas with plastic rings.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. MUSIC BOOSTER CLUB – The next meeting of the Fillmore Music Booster Club is Monday, 1/12 at 6:30 p.m. in the FMS band room.
2. 2nd QUARTER REPORT CARDS were mailed on Monday, 1/5/09.
3. ANY PARENT who wishes to participate in our school’s newspaper by writing an interesting article or poetry, sharing a favorite recipe, or submitting photos of our school events, please contact Ms. Morielli in room G-1 or email her at: amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us
