STUDENT INFORMATION

1. COME AND CHEER for our basketball teams on Monday, 2/2. This is the last game before playoffs and it is here at FMS starting with the girls at 4:00 and boys at 5:00 p.m.
2. THE BRIDGES AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM has open spots. Come by room D-1 after school for an application.
3. 2nd QUARTER AWARDS takes place on Tuesday, 2/3 at 6:30 p.m. in our gym. Invitations have been mailed home to students who are receiving an award.
4. SCHOOL RULES – Causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person will result in a 3-5 day suspension.
5. FRIENDSHIP PHOTOS is a great time to celebrate friendships. This Friday during 1st lunch only, take your picture with your best friend on stage behind the blue curtain. If you are a 6th grader, this is your last chance to get your picture taken. Please ask your teacher to be released for 5 minutes. If you need to re-take your picture due to technical difficulty last week, please re-take your picture on Friday. The cost is $2.00, but the memories last a lifetime.
6. THE PEOPLE OF VENTURA COUNTY need your help. Foodshare, Ventura County’s food bank is in need of our support. $10 buys $180 worth of food for needy families in our community. Our goal is to raise $1,000.00 so we can buy $18,000.00 worth of food. You can help by just bringing $1.00 or more if you’d like. Give it to your 2nd period teacher each day this week. Thanks for helping!
7. OUR LOST & FOUND is growing. If you have lost a sweater or jacket, come to the Attendance Office and see if your item has been found.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. MEET & GREET is scheduled for Friday, 1/30 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. We will be sharing the FMS Calendar of Events for the remainder of the school year.
2. ANY PARENT who wishes to participate in our school’s newspaper by writing an interesting article or poetry, sharing a favorite recipe, or submitting photos of our school events, please contact Ms. Morielli in room G-1 or email her at: amorielli@fillmore.k12.ca.us
