STUDENT INFORMATION

1. MINIMUM DAY TOMORROW - Students will be released at 12:15 p.m.
2. WINTER BREAK runs from Dec. 19th through January 4th. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 5, 2010!
3. SCHOOL RULES – When going through the cafeteria line, students are REQUIRED to choose 3 items of food at breakfast, break and lunch.
4. BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM – Please come to a short meeting today at 3:15 p.m. in the pavilion.
5. HOLIDAY SPIRIT RALLY on Friday, Dec. 18th. Come to room G-1 and sign up for the games and fun. In order to participate in the games, you must wear your grade level color and tape your grade level number to your shirt. Grade 6: White; Grade 7: Red; Grade 8: Blue
6. MUSICIANS ON CAMPUS – If your band would like to play at the Holiday Spirit Rally, please sign up in room G-1.
7. BEST DRESSED SNOWMAN CONTEST – Dress like a snowman! Judges at the rally will vote on the best-dressed snowman. You choose your prize. Prizes include a fantasy trip to the moon, movie passes for two, skateboard, skateboard t-shirt, gift certificates to Yanni’s, Margaret’s Cocina, and Subway or a two-week front-of-the-line pass!
8. GATE STUDENTS – There will be a GATE meeting TODAY in room B-1 after school. Please come to plan our upcoming Hobby Fair and to share any independent projects you’ve worked on this quarter.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. YOU’RE INVITED to our Meet & Greet tomorrow, Dec. 18th from 7:30-8:30 a.m. It will be a POTLUCK, so bring something to share.
2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your student to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
