STUDENT INFORMATION

1. THE FILLMORE TEEN DROP-IN CENTER is now open Monday-Thursdays from 3-6:30 p.m. and it is located at the Trinity Episcopal Church at the corner of 2nd & Saratoga Streets. You can participate with homework help, cooking classes, yoga classes and other fun activities.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person will result in a 3-5 day suspension.
3. GREAT ESCAPE I – Congratulations to those students who have earned a CPA of 3.0 and above in first quarter. To celebrate, you will receive a pass from ASB to escape 20 minutes early from your last period class. Grade 6 will escape on Friday, 11/21, Grade 7 on Monday, 11/24 and Grade 8 on Tuesday, 11/25. You must present your pass in order to escape and redeem for a treat. No pass, no escape, no treat!
4. YEARBOOK – Last chance to get your name on your yearbook for $40.00. See the yearbook table at lunch or Miss Beal in K-3.
5. SCHOOL SPIRIT – Show the town your spirit and Fillmore pride! Order your Fillmore T-shirt by 12/5. Cost is only $12.00 and the shirts are black with royal blue lettering. Order one as a gift, get one for your parents, wear them anywhere! See the yearbook table at lunch or Miss Beal in K-3 and order your shirt!
6. THE FLASHES first CIF football game will take place on Friday. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at the high school student store AFTER 3:15 p.m. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and seniors and $5.00 for students and children.
7. WRITING CONTEST – Write an article using 125 words or less on the meaning of the “Spirit of Giving”. The winner will receive a $50 cash prize and his or her article will be published in The Doghouse. The deadline to submit a winning article is November 21st.
8. DEAR JEAN MARIE – Have a problem, need a solution? Have a questions, need and answer? Write to Jean Marie.
9. POETRY – Have a poem you would like to share? Submit your poem to The Doghouse for publication.
10. CLUB SUCCESS – If you were invited to Club Success, please turn in your permission slip as soon as possible.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PARENT MEET & GREET this Friday, 11/21 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in room
C-1. This is a good time to share information among parents, teachers and administrators. See you there!
