STUDENT INFORMATION
1. MENTOR PROGRAM – Come sign up for a UCLA tour and UCLA football game on 11/21/09. Space is limited. Stop by the mentor room during break or lunch.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person (fighting, use of force) or encouraging a fight will result in a 3-day suspension and possible notification to the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. MAKE UP PICTURES are in. You may pick them up in the office before and after school or at break.
4. YEARBOOK UPDATE – Last chance for getting your yearbook at $40.00 with your name on it for free. Price goes up next week to $45.00. Sales during both lunches this week. See you at the yearbook table!
5. RED RIBBON WEEK/HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES
Friday, 10/30 – Halloween Costume “Be Me, I’m a Celebrity” Dress like your favorite celebrity or wear your favorite Halloween costume to school. Masks are not allowed. Costume prize categories: Most creative, most unusual, best homemade, best animal, best celebrity female, best celebrity male, most scary, best staff costume. Haunted House during both lunches. Red Ribbon Door Contest. 1st Place: Ice Cream, 2nd Place: Popcorn, 3rd Place: Lollipops
6. 1sT QUARTER REPORT CARDS were mailed Tuesday. If you have any questions about your grade, see your teacher. Any grade changes must be in writing to Mrs. Brock from your teacher.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. REPORT CARDS have been mailed. We have a new student database program and encountered a few difficulties in the report card process. If you feel that something is not correct on your student’s report card, please call Mrs. Brock at 524-6055.
2. PARENT MEET & GREET is scheduled for Friday, 10/30/09 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in room C-1.
3. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your student to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
