STUDENT INFORMATION
1. TODAY IS PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY - If you did not have your picture taken during registration you will need to do so today. 6th graders will have their pictures taken during 2nd period, 7th graders during 3rd period, and 8th graders during 4th period. If you purchased photos during registration but are not happy with those photos, you may have new pictures taken during Picture Make-Up Day but you will need to return the original packet of photos.
2. IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR ID CARD, do not go to get a new ID during picture make-up day. You can purchase a new ID card from the library for $3.00.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Disrespect toward any student or adult will result in 2 Administrative Detentions or a 1-3 day suspension.
4. THIS WEEK is Friendship Week. Celebrate all the great people in your life and tell them thanks for being your friend and make a few new ones too! Send your friend a friendship gram during lunch today or tomorrow. Join our “Who Knows Best” game show on Wednesday, or get a buddy picture on Thursday or Friday. Cost for grams or buddy picture is $1.00 each. Don’t forget, Friday is Twin Day so grab a pal and start planning now!
5. FMS WRESTLING PROGRAM – If you are interested in being on the FMS Wrestling Team this year, practice is held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-5 p.m. in the high school wrestling room. All you need is proof of insurance and a physical. Forms may be picked up in the front office with Mrs. Ecklund. The first practice is tomorrow, 9/13.
6. PERFORMING ARTS STUDENTS – Please meet for practice today in room K-4 after school. See you there!
7. CROSS COUNTRY PRACTICE is Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-4:15. Meet at the ASB room. Don’t forget your packet and team fees are due by Wednesday, 9/14.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. PROGRESS REPORTS will be mailed today, 9/12/11.
2. ZANGLE PARENT CONNECT – If you had access to Zangle Parent Connection last year you do not have to complete paperwork again this year. Your pin number and password should be the same as last year.
3. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
