STUDENT INFORMATION
1. OUR STATE TESTING takes place starting tomorrow, May 4th through Friday, May 7th. These will be minimum days and students will be released at 12:15 p.m. Bus students will be picked up at 12:45 p.m. and you will not be allowed to ride the high school bus. Backpacks are allowed and student should be bringing your AR books or other projects you may need to work on after testing is completed each day.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Cell phones, IPODS, cameras, etc. are not allowed at FMS!
3. FREE PHYSICALS – “Free” physicals will be given on Saturday, May 8th at the High School Nurse’s Office. Physicals are MANDATORY for ALL GRADUATING 8th GRADE ATHLETES that wish to start practice in June (i.e. Class of 2014 athletes CANNOT officially start any FHS sport until Monday, June 14, 2010). Physical forms must be signed by a parent and/or legal guardian prior to physical. Times: 8:30 a.m – Football players; 9:45 a.m. – Cross Country and Girls Volleyball & Girls Golf; 10:45 a.m. – All other athletes. Physical forms are available in the FMS office.
4. PLEASE HELP US to reward students during testing! FMS will be having a daily raffle Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday for students who come to school. We need prizes! Please call the office at 524-6055 if you can donate to our Bulldog Testing Raffle. Thank you to Mrs. Wade and Mrs. DuBois for donating IPODS! Students, you have to be at school to win if your name is drawn.
5. NEW ROTATION STARTS TODAY. All students should be in your period 6 class now and end the day with period 5.
6. SPIRIT DAYS – May 4 – 7
Tuesday – Wear clothing with words; in honor of Language Arts
Wednesday – Wear clothing with animals, weather; in honor of Science
Thursday – Wear clothing with numbers; in honor of Math
Friday – Wear red, white and blue; in honor of History
7. PLEASE TURN IN any applications such as UC Summer Writing Academy, Summer Academic Advancement Academy, AVID or 2010 Young Writers Camp to Mrs. Wyand right away!
8. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY! Grow native plants – they use less water! Tory Negrete & Michael Luna

2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your students to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
