STUDENT INFORMATION
1. STUDENTS OF THE MONTH – Congratulations to the following students: Grade 6: Victor Prado & Patricia Suarez; Grade 7: Eric Cadena & Jennifer Arroyo; Grade 8: Adrian Rangel & Maribel Vargas. Read about some of their favorites in the February Doghouse issue.
2. STAFF OF THE MONTH – Congratulations to our 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Arguelles and to our school counselor, Mrs. Wyand. Read more about these two wonderful people in the February issue of The Doghouse.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Causing or attempting to cause physical injury to another person will result in a 3-5 day suspension.
4. SCRAPBOOKING CLUB will meet on Wednesday, 2/4 in room B-1 during 2nd lunch. New members are always welcome.
5. MATH PROBLEM – Check out the math problem in the February issue of The Doghouse. The first 10 students to turn in their work and correct answer will receive a prize. Deadline to turn in your correct answer is February 11th to G-1.
6. COME AND CHEER for our basketball teams TODAY. This is the last game before playoffs and it is here at FMS starting with the girls at 4:00 and boys at 5:00 p.m.
7. SCOLIOSIS/VISION SCREENING begins on 2/9/09 for all 7th & 8th grade students during PE.
8. THE BRIDGES AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM has open spots. Come by room D-1 after school for an application.
9. 2nd QUARTER AWARDS – If you earned a 3.0 or above GPA 2nd quarter or had all “Outstanding” for Citizenship you should have received an invitation in the mail for TOMORROW’s Award Night. If you did not get an invitation and think you should have, please check the list posted outside the office.
