STUDENT INFORMATION
1. MASQUERADE DANCE! Bring your favorite mask and have a ball on November 18th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Purchase your tickets during lunch; $3.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Please use your ID card when you go through the lunch lines or the library. It helps everything move much smoother!
3. FRIDAY, 11/18/11 is the time to tune in to the pavilion during lunch and listen to a punk band. Students should be on their best behavior at all times!
4. CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Show how FMS cares; bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to help the needy! Bring your food donations to your 1st period class. The class with the most donations wins a pizza party!
5. BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS will take place today through Wednesday. Today is reserved for football players to try out from 3-4 p.m. All others will try out today, Tuesday & Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. ARE YOU FRUSTRATED with your child? Come and learn parenting skills for handling everyday behaviors. A workshop led by Celia Lagunas will take place on Tuesday, 11/15 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the FMS library.
2. PROGRESS REPORTS will be mailed home today.
3. PARENT MEET & GREET takes place on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Come and join us and keep informed on what is happening at our school!
4. MARK YOUR CALENDARS – No school Monday, November 21-25 – Local holidays and Thanksgiving holidays.
5. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
