STUDENT INFORMATION

1. PICTURES ARE IN from picture make-up day. If you purchased a package of pictures you may pick them up in the front office during break, lunch or after school.
2. SCHOOL RULES – FMS students are not allowed on other school campuses before or after school.
3. ATTENTION FILLMORE AND PIRU BOYS! Are you tired of your parents asking you to do something instead of playing video games all weekend? If you are between 11 and 17, come and check out the Boy Scouts. There will be an open house at the Scout House at the east end of Main Street from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28. See pictures of our recent camping trip to Wishon Valley in the Sierras. Learn about Winter Camp, backpacking, this year's new summer camp location, and various one day trips, projects, games and races the scouts participate in. Refreshments will be served. Wednesday, Oct. 29
- “SHADE OUT DRUGS DAY” Wear red, crazy hair & sunglasses.
- HAUNTED HOUSE – Visit our very own Haunted House open during both
lunches. Look for the “dare to enter sign”. Cost is $2.00.
Thursday, Oct. 30
- “GIVE DRUGS THE SLIP DAY” – Wear your pajamas, slippers & bring a
stuffed animal

Friday, Oct. 31
- HALLOWEEN COSTUME – Wear your Halloween costume to school. Please
do not wear a mask.
- HAUNTED HOUSE – Open during both lunches. Cost is $2.00
- DOOR CONTEST – See possible theme messages on the Post It Handout in
your classroom to help the class with ideas. The top four winners of the door
contest win: 1st Place: Skateboard keychain; 2nd Place: Popcorn; 3rd Place:
Goodie Pouch
5. 1st QUARTER GRADES were mailed home Monday. If you have a grade change, it must be submitted IN WRITING from your teacher to Mrs. Brock. Last date for grade changes is today, 10/27/08.
6. Friday, October 31 is the Fillmore vs Santa Paula high school football game. Due to the fact that it falls on Halloween, anyone dressed in costumes that are “Middle School Age “and above WILL NOT be allowed into the game. Fillmore High apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but hopes you will understand that it is important to create a safe environment for all that attend.
