STUDENT INFORMATION
1. YEARBOOK INFO – All pre-ordered yearbooks for 8th graders will be distributed on Thursday, June 3rd during 6th period. No yearbooks will be for sale after school. All pre-ordered 6th & 7th grade yearbooks will be distributed during 6th period on Friday, June 4th. No yearbooks will be sold after school. Yearbooks will be sold after school on Monday, June 7th only and will be sold until we sell out. $50.00 cash only – No checks will be accepted!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Be on time to every class. We have a lot of work to get done between now and the end of school!
3. BOYS AGES 12 years and older, if you are interested in going to camp this summer, see Mrs. Reyes-Deutsch to talk about Pyles Boys Camp.
4. 6th & 7th GRADERS – The 2011 Washington D.C. trip sign up is here! Sign up on Tuesday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m. in room K-3 with Miss Beal.
5. 8th GRADERS – Our Park Day is Tuesday, June 8. You must pay any money you owe to attend. Check the list in room J-2 BEFORE or AFTER school. Do this ASAP and pay off your debts, then turn in your permission slips by Friday, June 4.
6. ALL 6th-8th GRADE GIRLS & BOYS who are interested in joining Junior Flashes Pep Squad should contact Ms. Tafoya at the high school. Physicals need to be completed before you can begin.
7. END OF THE YEAR DANCE is next Friday, June 4th. Save the date for our Party Grande which starts at 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale during both lunches. Cost is $4.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door. Tickets are on sale during both lunches in the pavilion. Students must have a signed parent permission slip in order to enter the dance. Don’t forget to purchase your ticket! Glow in the dark items, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. PARENT MEETING TUESDAY, June 1st at 5:00 p.m. in the staff lounge to discuss Pyles Boys Camp.
2. PARENT MEET & GREET TODAY from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in room C-1. Plan to participate in our Pride in America Day celebration if you have the time – it is a very fun and inspiring event!
3. OUR FMS WEBSITE is located at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us, click on the Middle School. Our office staff and teaching staff along with email links are posted.
4. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your students to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
