STUDENT INFORMATION
1. MATH PROBLEM – The equation to this month’s word problem is: 75 = 7x – 9. Junior Moore is 12 years old. Congratulations to the following students: Jennifer Avila, Kendra Magana, Karina Contreras, Michael Luna, Austin Whittaker, Brandon Lloyd, Steven Rodriguez, Micah Chumley, Daniel Meza and Kiana Hope.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Harassing or threatening any student or adult will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible expulsion.
3. CAREER LUNCH takes place on Tuesday, 3/10 in room J-1 during 1st lunch. Come and meet our new teacher, Mr. Chavez. He has a very interesting occupational background as a lawyer and a teacher!
4. MARCH 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. Wear the color green on Tuesday, 3/17. Check out the activities during both lunches in the pavilion. The activities include hair painting, nail painting and face painting. DJ Konfidential will also be here to help us celebrate St. Patty’s Day!
5. NEXT WEEK starting on Monday, 3/9/09 we will change to schedule D which starts with 4th period and ends the day with 3rd period.
6. MARCH 27, SPRING DANCE – Get ready for our Spring Dance. Tickets go on sale soon - $4 in advance, $5 at the door. The dance takes place on March 27th from 5:30-8 p.m.
7.
