STUDENT INFORMATION

1. CAREER LUNCH TODAY in room J-1 during second lunch. Come and meet Erik Johnson who is a commercial airline pilot. Learn what really goes on behind the cockpit door of a big, commercial airplane, like the ones that fly out of LAX! It is definitely not like the movies!
2. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any controlled substance, alcoholic beverage or intoxicant of any kind will result in a 3-5 day suspension for the first offense.
3. 8th GRADERS – Reminder that in order to participate in our 8th grade promotion you must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA over all four quarters. A letter was already mailed to your parents explaining this policy last week.
4. EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY – See Paula Lerma and David Cabral for more information about air pollution.
5. THE FILLMORE TEEN DROP-IN CENTER is now open Monday-Thursdays from 3-6:30 p.m. and it is located at the Trinity Episcopal Church at the corner of 2nd & Saratoga Streets. You can participate with homework help, cooking classes, yoga classes and other fun activities.
6. SCHOOL SPIRIT – TODAY is the last day to order your FMS T-shirt. Cost is only $12.00 and the shirts are black with royal blue lettering. Order one as a gift, get one for your parents, wear them anywhere! See the yearbook table at lunch or Miss Beal in K-3 and order your shirt!
