STUDENT INFORMATION
1. HEY FMS! Come to skate night at Skating Plus on Friday, January 27th. Make sure you tell them that you are from Fillmore Middle School and a portion of the sales will be contributed to our school.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Fighting our encouraging a fight will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible notification of the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. THE VALENTINES DANCE is coming so mark your calendar for Friday, February 10th from 5:30-8 p.m. Listen to future bulletins for ticket sales information. Our school dances are so much fun and we hope for a large turnout.
4. YEARBOOK INFO – Hey you, yeah I mean you! Listen up or you’ll miss the last yearbook sale that where you still get your name on your yearbook. January is the last month to purchase your yearbook for $45 with your name or nickname on it. Order your yearbook in K-3 or at the 2nd lunch yearbook table. See YOU at the yearbook table!!
5. PENNIES FOR PATIENTS - Congratulations on another great week with Pennies for Patients. Here is the weekend challenge: Where was your money made? Each coin shows the letter of the city where it was minted, “D” is for Denver, “P” for Philadelphia and “S” for San Francisco. How many can you find of each? Collect as many as you can from each location and bring them to your classroom’s Pennies box.
6. FILLMORE BAND BOOSTERS presents Conjunto Zacamandu and Rey Fresco with a special appearance by Rico and Mambo Morning Show this Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the middle school gym. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from band students or at the door. For more information call Jennie at 524-5632 or 415-5632 or Lisa at 524-1697. All proceeds benefit the district band students. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
PARENT INFORMATION
1. BE SURE VISIT OUR WEBSITE at fillmore.k12.ca.us. Click on any school within the District to find all types of information such as staff email connections, cafeteria menus, available programs, etc.
2. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
