STUDENT INFORMATION

1. NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, January 18th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
2. STARTING TUESDAY, Jan. 19th all students will need their ID cards to get your lunch. If you do not have your ID card, you will be required to go to the end of the line. You can purchase a new ID card for $3.00 in the library.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any sort of firearm, knife or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
4. MIGRANT SPEECH TEAM – If you are interested in participating in the Migrant Speech Team, please attend an informational meeting next Thursday, Jan. 21st during first lunch in room G-4. Any sixth grade students interested in participating can stop by after school.
5. MENTOR PROGRAM – January is “National Mentoring Month” and we are asking all Littles/Mentees to stop by the Mentor Room during break or lunch to design a thank you card for your Big/Mentor. Students in the mentor program can come and sign up for the LA Zoo field trip which takes place on Monday, Feb. 15th. Space is limited. Pick up permission slips in the Mentor Room.
6. GRADE CHANGES – TODAY is the deadline for ALL grade changes. They must be submitted in writing by your teacher to Mrs. Brock.

1. OUR FMS WEBSITE is now under construction! You can log on at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us and click on the Middle School. Our office staff and teaching staff along with email links are posted. If you have any ideas on what you would like to see on the site, you can email our Principal Todd Schieferle with your suggestions.
2. PARENTS ARE WELCOME here at Fillmore Middle School. If you wish to come on our campus, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor badge. We want you and your student to have a wonderful experience here at FMS!
