STUDENT INFORMATION

1. HALLOWEEN COSTUME RULES – Monday is Halloween. Please remember that ALL school rules must be followed when in costume: No midriffs, halters or tube tops, no extremely short or tight-fitting clothing, no cleavage, no alcohol or drug related apparel, hats are OK but if oversized, they must be taken off in class, a little face paint (if you wear too much you will be asked to clean your face completely), NO MASKS AT ALL, no dangerous or distracting props. If you do not follow these rules you will be asked to change into your PE clothes or clothes provided by the office.
2. RED RIBBON WEEK TRIVIA QUESTION – True or False? Alcohol and other drugs circulate in the bloodstream. The first 5 students to tell Mrs. Bortins the correct answer on stage during the break, will receive a prize.
3. SCHOOL RULES – Possession of any firearm, knife, explosive or other dangerous object will result in a 5-day suspension and expulsion recommendation.
4. COME AND GET YOUR SCARE ON! Visit our spooktacular ghouls and monsters in the Haunted House on the stage at lunch today and Monday. Tickets are $1.00. Can you handle fear? Grab some buddies and come find out!
5. 8th GRADERS – It’s your last year of being a bulldog. Make it last; put your baby picture in the 2012 yearbook! There are only 65 spots so get your baby picture to Miss Beal in K-3 before or after school. Write your name and 5th period teacher on the back of your photo. You may also email your photo to Miss Beal at: jbeal@fillmore.k12.ca.us.
6. YEARBOOKS – Last chance to order your yearbook for $40.00. Price goes up to $45.00 on November 1st! Order at the yearbook table during both lunches. If you have questions, see Miss Beal in room K-3.
7. BASKETBALL meeting TODAY in room C-1 during 1st lunch and room H-2 during 2nd lunch.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
