STUDENT INFORMATION
1. NEW ROTATION STARTING MONDAY, 10/26 - All students will start their day with period 4 and end with period 3.
2. SCHOOL RULES – If you are suspended more than 20 days in any school year, you will be recommended for expulsion.
3. RED RIBBON WEEK/HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES starts next week.
Tuesday, 10/27 - “Ask Me, What I’m Listening to” I-Pod during lunch
Wednesday, 10/28 - “See Me, I Support My Team” wear your favorite team’s
Jersey; Haunted House – Visit our Haunted House during
both lunches. Cost is $2.00
Thursday, 10/29 – “Be Me, I’m Cool, I’m Drug Free” Wear your Pajamas,
slippers & bring a stuffed animal; Haunted House open during
both lunches
Friday, 10/30 – Halloween Costume “Be Me, I’m a Celebrity” Dress like your favorite celebrity or wear your favorite Halloween costume to school. Masks are not allowed. Costume prize categories: Most creative, most unusual, best homemade, best animal, best celebrity female, best celebrity male, most scary, best staff costume. Haunted House during both lunches. Red Ribbon Door Contest. 1st Place: Ice Cream, 2nd Place: Popcorn, 3rd Place: Lollipops
4. ATTENTION PIRU SKATEBOARDERS - There will be a meeting next Wednesday the 28th for skaters interested in helping design the new Piru Skate Park. It will be at the Warring Park Community center from 6:30-8pm. If you want to have a say in how your park is going to look then you need to come to this meeting. See Mr. Mac Donald if you have any questions.
5. SAN CAYETANO SCHOOL will be locking the gates around the perimeter of the school. Students from FMS who are accustomed to walking through the school and exiting out the corners will no longer be able to do so. Please plan accordingly.
6. 1sT QUARTER REPORT CARDS – Do to some complications with our new student database program and some printing issues, our 1st quarter report cards will be delayed. We will keep you informed when we plan to mail the report cards.
7. WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN A FREE YEARBOOK? Enter the yearbook drawing contest. Show your school spirit. Drawings should include: Our school mascot, school name and mission statement (Together we will: Think, Believe, Create, Achieve). Drawing should be on 8 ½ x 11” paper. Picture could be in black and white or in color. Picture due to Miss Beal by Oct. 23rd. Selected drawing will win a free yearbook!
