STUDENT INFORMATION

1. INCLEMENT WEATHER – Do you know what “inclement weather” is? Inclement is an adjective that describes severe, rough, harsh or stormy weather. Some examples of inclement weather conditions that we have experienced in Fillmore have been rain, wind, and smoky air. There will be days ahead where we will experience “inclement weather” and we want you to know that during the lunch breaks, we will open the gym and students will be required to eat and spend the lunch break inside protected from the weather conditions. So, the next time you hear we are on an “inclement weather” schedule, you will know that your lunch break will take place in the gym.
2. SCHOOL RULES – Fighting or encouraging a fight will result in a 3-5 day suspension and possible notification of the Sheriff’s Dept.
3. THE YOUTH ACT CLUB has been moved to Thursdays during 2nd lunch in room K-1 starting next Thursday, Oct. 27th. Please come join us while we help make a difference in our world.
4. BASKETBALL meeting next Friday, Oct. 28th in room G-1 during 1st lunch and room H-2 during 2nd lunch.
5. ART CONTEST – If you are interested in participating in The Woman of Influence Art Contest sponsored by the Fillmore Soroptimist organization, pick up an entry form from the office. This contest is a way to celebrate and recognize women who have had a positive impact on others. Full details are listed on the entry form.

PARENT INFORMATION

1. PARENTS – SIGN UP FOR PARENT CONNECTION for Zangle. See your student’s grades, attendance, class assignments. You may access the required form at our website: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Click on the “For Parents” drop down, Zangle Parent Connection, Registration Form. Print and complete the form and have your student deliver it to the front office. Once processed you will receive a PIN number for accessing your student’s information.
