STUDENT INFORMATION
1. THANK YOU to Michael Melendez for bringing in the cake decorator from Santa Barbara for our Algebra lesson!
2. SCHOOL RULES – If you are suspended more than 20 days in a school year, you will be recommended for expulsion.
3. MINIMUM DAY TODAY – Students will be released at 12:15 p.m.
4. YOUTH ACT CLUB – Our next meeting will be Monday, 10/25. Come to room D-2 during first lunch and K-1 during second lunch. We will be planning upcoming events and choosing leadership positions. This is a very important meeting. Goodies will be served. Come help make our world a better place, one student at a time!
5. SPIRIT RALLY TODAY! The games include musical chairs, limbo rock, dance contest, human wheel barrow, dummies freeze frame and more. Be prepared to yell and win! The grade level with the most points wins! The prize will be revealed at the rally.
6. SPRIT RALLY GRADE LEVEL COLORS – Grade 8: Blue; Grade 7: Red; Grade 6: White. The students who wish to participate in the rally games must wear their grade level color and tape their grade level number on their shirt.
7. OCTOBER BREAK is next week, Oct. 11-18th. Students come back to school on Tuesday, Oct. 19th.
8. LOGO CONTEST – The Senior Center is looking for a new logo. They are sponsoring a contest to select one. The winner will receive $50.00. Their mission statement is “to provide programs and activities and an environment for social and intellectual enrichment to Fillmore/Piru senior citizens”. Deadline is Thanksgiving, November 25th. 9. DOMINOS PIZZA WEDNESDAYS will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 20th. The cafeteria will be serving pepperoni pizza and garden bar every Wednesday.
10. BBQ ROUNDUP FRIDAYS – Starting Friday, Oct. 22nd the cafeteria will be serving BBQ hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Dodger dogs and chicken along with the garden bar.
11. 6th GRADE ASB OFFICERS – Any 6th grader who is interested in joining the ASB class, please see Ms. Morielli in room G-1. We still have three openings.
12. GREAT ESCAPE I – Grades matter! Keep up the good work. Turn in homework and prepare for tests. Students with GPA’s 3.3 and above will automatically earn a pass for the Great Escape. More info to follow.
13. YEARBOOK – Hey you, yes you! If you miss it, you’ll miss the best deal on your yearbook. There is not time to wait. There are only 200 yearbooks ordered this year and about 900 students on campus. If you want to guarantee you get a yearbook, you need to buy it now. Price is $45 which includes your name for free. That’s right, your name for free! See us at our lunch table during 2nd lunch or 1st lunch student can go to Miss Beal’s room, K-3. Get them fast while they last!

1. PARENTS ARE WELCOME to come to our school any time. Please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor’s pass before going on campus.
2. WEBSITE INFO: Our Calendar of Events is posted at the Fillmore Unified School District Website at: www.fillmore.k12.ca.us Once there, you can click on Fillmore Middle School and you will find the calendar of events listed in the upper left corner. You will also find a cafeteria menu and staff email access.
