It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Eleanor Delano Arias. She was born on 12/24/1935 and on April 9, 2016 she began "the first day of the rest of her life." She moved onto her new life peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones in Fillmore, CA. Ellie was born in Longview Texas. Along with her parents (Grandpa D and Ollie) and brothers, the teenaged Eleanor moved to Piru, CA. It was in Piru where she met fell in love and married Lupe Arias. together they raised ten children who she consistently shared unconditional love and admiration. Our Mom dedicated her life to God and her family. She approached life with a smile on her face and never a complaint. Ellie is preceded in death by her husband Lupe Arias and Michael Neely of Washington. They will join her as she celebrates her new life in heaven along side of her precious children Terri, Andy and JJ who have been awaiting her arrival.
