Has anyone checked Nick Lowles‘s office? The people who have the most to lose here are those who, like Lowles, smeared anyone and everyone who spoke out against these Muslim rape gangs as “racist,” “bigoted” and “Islamophobic.” These files almost certainly contain incriminating material about how British officials wouldn’t move against the rape gangs for fear of being stigmatized with those labels. But those officials are still in positions of power and influence in Britain, and so these missing files are unlikely ever to be recovered.

Yet another indication of why we don’t see more genuine Islamic reformers. For the jihad imperative to make war against and subjugate unbelievers worldwide to be blunted, there would have to be a large-scale rejection of Qur’anic literalism, which is not remotely on the horizon. And virtually every time anyone appears who does advocate a rejection of literalism, this is the kind of thing that happens.

Ventura, Calif.—The Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) is sponsoring a free anti-terrorism and security training session Friday, October 24 at the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura (1050 Schooner Dr.). The daylong class (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) is open to all individuals responsible for maintaining security at lodging and other private facilities in Ventura County.

Attendees will receive an overview on how to increase awareness of suspicious behaviors and links to larger threats, and how to report information to the proper law enforcement authorities. The program is intended to encourage relationships with federal, state and local law enforcement.

“The primary goal of any private facility, whether it is a hotel, motel, RV park or office building, is to provide a secure environment for its employees and guests,” says Rebekah Evans, executive director of VCLA. “This program will show how to train staff to be alert and aware of the threats that are out there.”

The program, “Infrastructure Liaison Officer Training,” will be presented by Hal Kempfer from InfraGard, a national education and information-sharing program created by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the private/public sector.

As the Islamic State beheads a third hostage and the world recoils in horror and reassures itself that all this has nothing to do with Islam, it is useful to remember that jihad activity continues in the United States – although hardly anyone notices amid the rush to dissociate Islam from the mounting violence committed in its name and in accord with its literal teachings.

Take, for example, a Muslim from Seattle, Ali Muhammad Brown. KING 5 News reported that Brown is “currently in jail on $5 million bail for the alleged murder of a college student in late June.” He has “already been charged with gunning down two men at 29th and King Street in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood on June 1.” And he is “now the prime suspect in a fourth homicide.”

The rising clamor over the beheading of two Americans, and rapidly sinking polls, forced President Obama to reassure the nation last week he had a plan to deal with the Islamic State. He did some of what he had to do, but only some, and so most military analysts believe the expanded airstrikes will not be a sufficient match for the size and weaponry of the terrorist army.

They miss the point. The disjointed speech wasn’t really about terrorism and launching a new war. It was about saving Obama’s presidency.

Hussein bin Mahmoud invokes Qur’an 47:4: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” It would be refreshing if Barack Obama or the Archbishop of Brisbane or one of the many other non-Muslim authorities who have insisted that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam would explain how he is misunderstanding that verse.
