The financial catastrophe America is going through will hurt most of us for years to come. What I find outrageous, besides the Wall Street thieves and their multi-billion dollar (continuing) perks, is the way Obama is blaming McCain and the Republicans for this fiscal debacle. While both parties are to blame, McCain and other responsible Republicans tried repeatedly to warn of the sub-prime threat and offered bills to correct the problem.
Ironically, those Democrats affecting absolute denial of responsibility for the calamity are the very ones most guilty. Senator Chris Dodd, and (Massachusetts’ most celebrated sodomite, SEE http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/frenzy/fra...) Barney Frank, have profited for years from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and stopped remedial action. Frank even had an affair with some Fannie Mae guy in years past. Talk about a conflict of interest!
However, the facts are finally being made available in the media for all to hear and understand. Even President Clinton has now come clean about who bears most responsibility for the sub-prime scandal, which triggered the Wall Street and credit collapse.
The nation is finally beginning to ask “Who is this guy Barack Obama, anyway?” We are learning he is a dangerous man with decidedly dangerous and subversive friends.

Martin...I truly hope that unless most of Americans wake up, we will be in very deep doo-doo real soon...deeper than we already are with this financial crisis and worldwide embarassment the US started years ago through simple mismanagement, un-thinking, hiring individuals not qualified to do the federal jobs in the Treasury, and hiring the wrong guy into federal offices as congressmen, senators and even the President and Vice Presidents. The outlook is critically gloomy if Obama is going to win, and although polls now reflect some 3 to 8 percentage spread between the candidates, McCain will have to win most all of the eastern states in order to get just enough delegates to catch up with Obama. I told a friend of mine who came to my home this morning to sit by the pool and have a brandy-coffee (cold, by the way), that this is so frustrating, why cannot we simply put an estoppel...a restraining order on the process of the federal government, and curtail the elections at least until we can locate and find some other candidate who emerges more viable than these choices we have now? Votes of "no-Confidence" have been made before, haven't they? This has never been done before in the history of the US...but let me tell 'ya...this is serious! My wife said...just stop all government now, from passing any legislation...stop everything and start over? Easy as it may seem to be...and as difficult in reality as it would be...the plan to reorganize may be just what we need. Right now, nothing is being done; much; to rid this mainstream thought process we have about Obama being the savior. In fact, he fits the profile of an Anti-Christ. We left the conversation, the iced brandy-coffee and the pool lounges with this last comment as my guest walked to his car...and that was to get a large barrel of sleeping pills, have someone keep feeding them to us while we are still comatose, for 4 years so we can sleep like Rip Van Winkle. We may wake up with "it" all over with and nothing left on earth, or that the earth will be destruction-in-progress, worse than it is now.
