With a very heavy heart, we announce the passing of Dora Chretin De Sanchez. Dora was born on February 2, 1933 in Sinaloa to Juan and Maria Del Carmen Chretin. In her teens, she and her 5 Chretin sisters relocated to California. She met Gabriel Sanchez, who later became her husband. Dora and Gabe were blessed with three children: DiDi, Maxie and Gabriel (Booty), followed by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Dora was happiest when she was surrounded by family, friends and those who loved her. She had a true passion for life. Our family queen was selfless, generous, loving and always the life of every party.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gabriel Sanchez and her beloved son, Gabriel Sanchez II.
Rosary and viewing will be held on Wednesday August 9th at The Conejo Mountain Funeral Home in Camarillo from 6pm- 9pm. Mass will be held on August 10th at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10am followed with the burial at the Bardsale Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall.
