Ventura Pooch Parade fundraiser July 20
www.poochparade.org

In 2007 this event raised over $50,000 and only with your support can we exceed our goal of rising $65,000 this year in funds for the homeless dogs in our Sanctuary & the Project Second Chance Adoption Program. This event will also be used as a vehicle to educate the community regarding the importance of responsible pet ownership.

Our theme this year is – IT’S HIP TO SNIP, SPAY & NEUTER YOUR PET----- and responsible pet care. Following the dog walk, families will enjoy a lunch, pet demonstrations, pet contests, and adoptions with many Ventura area rescue groups. A Silent Auction with over 200 Items and over 40 pet related vender products. Admission is free--- this is the only event like this in the area!

The Canine Adoption & Rescue League is a Ventura County based non-profit dog\puppy rescue and placement organization founded in 1996 and run almost entirely by volunteers. Funds raised from this event will help offset the many supplies, medical expenses, and obedience training for the animals and their care. Over 5,000 dogs and puppies have come through our program and have been given a second chance.
