Low Back Pain Treatment is Focus of CMHS Seminar on Sept. 1

The treatment of low back pain will be the focus of a free seminar Community Memorial Health System is holding on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

David Westra, M.D., who specializes in neurosurgery, will cover the many conditions that contribute to low back pain and the several treatment options available to help alleviate the pain at the seminar that will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the eighth-floor Nichols Auditorium at Community Memorial Hospital, 147 N. Brent St.

Dr. Westra received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed his residency at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda. He is a member of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a member of the Community Memorial Hospital medical staff.
