Fillmore Lions invites you to another “Community Speaker” engagement series. Anyone interested is invited to attend on Monday, Dec 15th at 7pm to hear Maya Lazos, a local independent consultant who will speak on suicide prevention. It will be held at the Lions Club House, 128 Sespe Avenue, Fillmore. You’re also encouraged to bring a dish to share, as this will be a potluck. The suicide prevention presentation will highlight the warning signs of suicide, ways to offer hope to those who are struggling, and how to connect individuals with resources.
