On Monday, August 18th, Fillmore Lions Club hosted its first Community Potluck with Speaker event. They heard from Kat Merrick, founder of The Local Love Project, a grass roots Ventura County nonprofit. The mission of TLLP is to provide immediate assistance to communities who have experienced a natural disaster such as wildfires and mudslides.
