Hodap Team Rules in Dat of R&A ProAm! It has taken about 20 years, but host Pro Dan Hodap has finally won the R&A Pro Am at Elkins Ranch Gold Club, April 30. And he did it in the R&A’s 40th Anniversary year! Ten Ventura County area golf pros teamed with the R&A members. Hodap shot a 72 and teamed with Guenther Selbrede for a best ball of 61 to lead his team to a 3 shot victory. The other teammates, Bruce Dempsey and Gary King, shot 71 to place second in the two-man scramble competition. The winning team shot 10 under 132 with Hodap leading his team to victory and making several appearances at the pay window.
