CMHS Holds Free ‘Stop Smoking’ Classes in Ventura, Ojai and Oxnard

Ventura, CA - Community Memorial Health System holds regularly scheduled free “Stop Smoking” Tobacco Cessation classes in Ventura, Ojai and Oxnard.

The 8-session classes include sessions on how to handle smoking urges, how to handle stress and moods and how to handle slips. Sessions on weight and exercise, lifestyle balance and life without cigarettes also will be covered. Nicotine patches and products are provided free to program participants.

Thursdays Oxnard on 2361 E. Vineyard Ave., reception area, Oxnard, CA 93036

The sessions are co-sponsored by Ventura County Public Health and funded by the Ventura County Tobacco Settlement Program.
