300 Census Workers Needed for 2010 Census
Testing Currently Going On Throughout Ventura County

(Ventura, CA) – The U.S. Census Bureau will conduct candidate testing for multiple positions on several dates in January and February, at multiple locations throughout the county. The bureau will be hiring 300 temporary employees to begin work as early as March. The positions include census takers and supervisors with wages ranging from $15 to $21.25 per hour.

The testing will take place at the following locations (contact the US Census Bureau at 1-866-861-2010 for other locations):

West Oxnard Job & Career Center
January 16 & 29, 10 am and 1 pm

East County (Simi Valley) Job & Career Center
January 20, 10 am and 1 pm
