2nd Piru Brush Fire in Two Weeks

On September 30, 2021, at 2:22pm, Ventura County Fire was dispatched to a reported brush fire in the 4200 block of Center Street, Piru. Arriving fire crews (ME28) reported a 100' by 100' spot fire. Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and detectives were also on scene, along with a fire investigator. Crews remained on scene for about three hours.
