Knock, Knock

‘Who’s there?’ is how most of us answer the question. However, the famous painting where Jesus is knocking at the door has no doorknob on his side of the door. We have to open the door and let him in. In Revelation 3:20(NIV), it says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” You see, Jesus wants to share a meal with you; he wants to share his life with you. The only way that can happen is if you listen to his voice and his knock and open the door of your heart and let him in. Believe it or not, when you let him in, it frees you up from all the garbage in your life. How? Jesus will help to get rid of the garbage and help you to live a life free of hurt, pain, and guilt, and fill you with love and confidence. Need a friend to dine with? Listen for the knock! Blessings
