Dorothy Lynch to sing at First United Methodist

Former Fillmore resident Dorothy Lynch plans to sing Sunday, May 18, at First United Methodist Church of Fillmore, 421 Sespe Ave.
Dorothy is dedicating her solo to the memory of her former accompanist and Fillmore Methodist's church musician, Charles Gonzalez, who died suddenly on May 17, 2006. Charles' parents, Emma and Al Gonzalez of Newbury Park, plan to attend the service.
The well known vocalist moved to Marshall, Texas in April, 2008. She is now a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall, is part of their large choir and is very active in that community.
Dorothy's 4 children; Matthew, Michael, Kevin and Kathleen, are all Fillmore High School graduates. During her annual visit to California, Dorothy will be staying in the home of her daughter in Ventura.
Services at the Fillmore church begin at 11 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
