The Bardsdale United Methodist Women would like to extend their heart-felt gratitude to the communities of Bardsdale, Fillmore and Piru who came out to their garage sale and fundraiser this past Saturday. The sale raised more money than expected due to the generosity of everyone involved.

All proceeds are being used to help defray the medical costs of Kent Fromer, Bardsdale’s pastor, in his fight against neural blasphoma. Since treatments will be continuing, anyone still wishing to make a contribution may write a check to the Bardsdale UMW (noting Pastor Kent) and mail it to the Bardsdale United Methodist Church, 1498 Bardsdale Ave., Fillmore CA 93015.

Again the UMW appreciates and thanks the communities for their generous and loving support.
