Candy Gurrola was born on February 2, 1930 in La Verne, CA. Candy was a resident of Fillmore for 30 years before moving to Anaheim, CA, where she passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was a medical assistant for 30 + years. She loved giving gifts and sending all occasion cards to all her family and friends.
Candy is preceded in death by parents Panfilo & Juana De Haro Gurrola, sisters Katie Zavala, Lucy Munoz, Pauline Ruiz, brothers John, Gregg & Dolores (twins) and Julio Gurrola.
She is survived by her brothers Camilo Gurrola, Richard Gurrola and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services for Candy will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 starting with a Rosary at 9:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church 1048 Ventura St., Fillmore, CA. A Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church officiated by Father Alex. Burial to follow at Bardsdale Cemetery 1698 S. Sespe St. Fillmore, CA
