California State Old Time Fiddlers District 8 will meet Sunday, January 13 from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Oak View Community Center, 18 Valley Road, Oak View. Join fiddlers for an afternoon of listening and dancing to Country Western and Bluegrass music. Bring an instrument and play along. Ron Sexton's workshop will comprise of a continuation of Music 101, including arrangements, chordal structure, the importance of scales, and....hands on teaching of one or two songs that can be performed on stage that day or at a later meeting.
