The Great Outdoors
Try Gentle Outdoor Yoga, a 30-minutes class sure to relax the mind and rejuvenate the body, offered Saturdays at 11:00 AM on the Village Main Lawn overlooking the boats in the harbor. Wear comfortable clothing and a mat will be provided if needed no reservations required, $5 to attend, through Labor Day.

Hit the shores at Harbor Cove Beach and enjoy the laid back lifestyle of the Ventura Harbor. Lifeguard services are available now through September 5th, Labor Day, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Ample showers and FREE parking are just a few perks of Harbor Cove Beach. Located next to the Harbor Cove Beach is the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center with FREE daily admission from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. With a newly opened tidal pool exhibit located inside the visitor’s center and the recently released Channel Islands movie “A Treasure in the Sea” narrated by Kevin Costner, visitors can learn about the National Park, located right off the banks of our coastline!

Enjoy the scenery for a great cause at the American Cancer Society’s 2nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k Walk in the Ventura Harbor. Beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 13th teams of walkers will complete a 5k course winding through the Ventura Harbor and promenade and take part in activities before and after the walk.

Pet Friendly Fun
Art Night in the Harbor offer patrons a FREE event highlighting local artists throughout the Village, with live music and demonstrations, every third Thursday of the month from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Art Night in the Harbor August 18th has a special focus on pet portraits, and pet photos. Humans and four-legged friends alike enjoy a chance to meet the artists, view art, photo ops, stroll the promenade, shop and enjoy culinary delights on pet friendly patios as the sun sets over the Harbor. For more pet pampering, take part in Doga, Yoga for Dogs, the last Saturday of every month, at 10:30 am. See this relaxing yoga class go to the dogs August 27, September 24 & October 29. Show your pup some love and zen and learn this unique form of yoga on the Village Main Lawn, cost $5.

Arts Delight

Visit the Ventura Harbor Village for the 3rd annual Arts in the Park, presented by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce, on August 20th from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and August 21st from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm! Buicks, Oldsmobile, Pontiacs, and GMC Pickups, both vintage and modern, will be on display on the Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn for car enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy Saturday, August 28th, 10:00 am – 3:30 pm! The Chiefs Along the Channel Car Show is presented by The Channel Islands Chapter of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International includes live music, raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and final award ceremony. For easy access to shopping, dining, and family fun at the Village, catch the summer Ventura Harbor Water Taxi from Marina Park to the Ventura Harbor Village. Sponsored by the Ventura Port District, Ventura Boat Rentals, and Ventura Boatyard, “Toot-Sea” runs on Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 am to 7:00 pm through Labor Day Weekend.
