Recent changes in the law now support fostering young people up to their 21 birthday. Come to this month’s informational meeting to learn about the difference you can make to a child as they start their journey as a young adult.

Over 600 children in Ventura County that need a foster home where they can thrive, develop and achieve dreams that once might have seemed impossible. And it’s not all one-sided: their youthful enthusiasm and gratitude can bring new spirit to your life while you keep them on the path to a happy, productive life. That’s the power of foster care.

Become a foster parent; it’s quite possibly the best thing one human can do for another. This month’s event is Tuesday, June 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Human Services Agency of Ventura County (855 Partridge Dr., Ventura). Call 654-3456 or go to vchsa.org/foster for more dates and an online meeting option.
